was appointed as Head of Research and Development, Production in 2011 after serving BIOSYNTH as project head for various enzyme development projects forming a long track record in expression, engineering, and production of industrial biocatalysts since 2008. After obtaining his PhD in Physiological Chemistry from the University of Colonge in 2001, he worked as research associate at the Howard Hughes Medical Institute/Yale University and group leader in the pharmaceutical industry on several projects e.g. involving anti-inflammatory diseases before joining BIOSYNTH. He obtained his Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Institute for Management, Salzburg, and University of Klagenfurt in 2013.
a senior scientist at BIOSYNTH, studied chemistry at the TU Wien and obtained her PhD in 2015 in organic synthesis. Before joining BIOSYNTH in 2017 she did her postdoctoral research in the field of biocatalysis. At BIOSYNTH she is responsible for organic synthesis, enzyme characterisation and enzyme fermentation.
an experienced senior scientist in enzyme engineering and production, obtained his PhD from the Research Center Jülich, Heinrich-Heine-University of Düsseldorf in 2002. Before joining Eucodis as group leader in 2008, he has worked as research fellow at the Forschungszentrum Jülich, Germany and as staff scientist at Intercell AG in Vienna. His current work at BIOSYNTH is focused mainly at the identification, engineering, and establishment of expression systems for novel industrial enzymes.
